The problem with a sprite comic with totally original artwork and craftsmanship is that even when you don't create HD versions of all the artwork, it's still a lot of effort to put together.
I was convinced that I would make a comic that was a low effort prototype of my big ideas. Children's books. Videogames. Animations. So I ditched the computer graphics for scribbles.
Obviously, you've seen Hat Trick. You know I abandoned this direction. I've realized that trying to make this comic decent is my mission.
But the words "first draft" betray what I was thinking at the time. I was slapping down clay on the table that could be sculpted later -- if I chose -- into something worth publishing. And worth supporting.
